CCTV Packages: 2, 4 and 8 Cameras

All camera packages (not the HD upgrade) include cabling in conduit or trunking (up to about 20–30 m per camera), connectors, mounting, NVR configuration, the phone app for you and your manager, and a night-footage test before we leave.

What a 4-Camera Villa Package Includes

The 4-camera package is the one most Bali villas need: one camera on the main gate for faces and plates, one on the villa entrance, one over the pool and terrace, and one on the carport or service path. Inside the price you get four IP 4MP cameras with IP66 housings and infrared night vision, an 8-channel NVR (so four more cameras can be added later without replacing it), a 2 TB surveillance-grade drive that holds roughly two to four weeks of footage, cable runs in conduit, and setup of Hik-Connect or DMSS on your phone. Before we leave we walk through playback with you and test remote view from outside the villa's WiFi.

What is not in the base price: a UPS for the recorder and router (recommended in areas with frequent PLN outages), cable runs longer than about 30 m to a far gate, poles or special brackets where there is no wall at the right height, and marine-grade stainless fixings for clifftop and beachfront properties. Each of these is listed as a separate line in your quote so you can decide.

Price per Extra Camera and Other Jobs

Adding a camera to an existing system costs more per camera than adding it during a new installation, because it needs its own technician visit, a new cable run and a re-test of the NVR and app. If you expect to expand, choose an NVR with spare channels from the start — our 4-camera package already has four free.

Maintenance Plans

Bali's humidity, salt air and dust degrade cameras faster than in temperate countries: lenses film over, housings fog, infrared lamps attract insects and hard drives running 24/7 in a hot cupboard wear out. Our annual maintenance visit covers lens and housing cleaning, re-aiming cameras that have drifted, a hard-drive health check, a firmware check and a remote-view test, and costs IDR 1,800,000–3,000,000 a year depending on the number of cameras. Brands We Install: Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Ezviz

We install Hikvision, Dahua and Uniview for wired IP systems and Ezviz for small Wi-Fi setups — brands with official distributors, warranty service and spare parts in Indonesia, so a failed camera can usually be replaced on the next visit instead of waiting weeks for an import. Hikvision and Dahua also make the HD-TVI and HD-CVI cameras we use for analog upgrades on existing coax. What Is Actually Inside an Installation Quote?

A full CCTV quote for a villa is four line items, not one. The cameras themselves are usually only 40–50% of the total. The recorder with its hard drive adds the next block, then cable, trunking and connectors, and finally the labour: mounting, terminating, configuring the NVR, setting up phone access and walking you through playback. When a price looks suspiciously low, one of those blocks is missing — most often the trunking, which means bare cable stapled along your fascia, or the commissioning, which means nobody tests night footage and remote view before leaving.

Site conditions move the number more than brand choice does. Poured concrete and stone walls slow every metre of cable routing and demand proper drilling, double-height living rooms and roof apexes call for scaffolding or long ladders, and a gate camera sixty metres from the house needs armoured cable in conduit or a powered midspan along the way. Distance plays its part too: a hillside villa an hour from the main roads carries travel time that a Denpasar shophouse does not. None of this is padding — it is hours, and an honest quote shows them.

Where can you trim without hurting the result? Reuse existing coax when upgrading an old analog system instead of rewiring, group cameras so several share one cable path, and choose four well-placed units with good night sensors over eight budget ones. Resist Wi-Fi extenders as a "cheap" link to the gate — they fail in the first storm season and the callout erases the saving. And ask for a surveillance-grade disk in the recorder; a desktop drive is cheaper on day one and dead by month eighteen.
